Being a fan of the “Men of Inked Series” from book one, “Throttle Me”, I could not wait to read Izzy’s story. She’s had such a presence in every single one of the books, so far. She is often times, her brothers’ voice of reason. Because she’s so opinionated, confident, and decided in her delivery throughout the previous books, I absolutely could not wait to read her story. And “Resist Me” does not disappoint. Izzy really meets her match, when she meets James. He matches and exceeds the confidence, sarcasm, and sex appeal that she exudes. Not only does he tell her, but he shows her, just how much she wants him and that she belongs to him. I love the rapport between these two. It’s so far beyond a game of “cat and mouse” or playing hard to get. It’s survival of fittest, especially in the bedroom.  The mental and emotional gameplay for James is a tactic to secure what he wants…. Izzy. For Izzy, it a defense mechanism, that gets her nowhere fast. And James loves the resistance, it just adds fuel to his fire.

Besides, the pussy power and dick domination game being served between James and Izzy, there is another story being prefaced. That is the one of the oldest Gallo brother, Thomas. You really get a peek inside, as to why he has not been around for Sunday dinners, and the link between him, James, and Izzy. I absolutely cannot wait for that one.

“Resist Me” is was amazing read.  The characters are laughable, lovable, and LUST-worthy!  I recommend “Resist Me” to you all. Actually, I recommend the whole series.
