Once upon a time, I was Fallon Dunbar.

Rock and roll, drugs, and bad decisions were the life I lived.

I’d fallen so deep into the dark rabbit hole that I was certain I would never make it out alive. People like me didn’t get second chances. People like me didn’t get lifted from the darkness. So when the opportunity showed up, I had to take it.

I walked away from everything I loved, everything that was killing me, and I became Fae Dunham. After that, I hid behind makeup, long sleeves, and a closed-off heart.

All was well until I met Dane Pearson. He wasn’t convinced of the new me, and whenever he was near, I felt like the old me, the real me, filled with passion and a love for music. Every day was a struggle of self-discovery. Every day was a fight to not fall back down the rabbit hole. And every day, somehow, someway, I slowly began to discover what it meant to find myself.

It was a hysteric ride, but it was ours. And I wouldn’t change a thing.

The full boxes scattered around my small one room apartment made it feel more real. The sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach made it feel so wrong. The new title and job made it feel surreal.

I am Fae Dunham.

I am the assistant editor of Raging Underground.

I am unsure, nervous, and scared shitless.

I am in recovery.

Staring into the full length mirror I had just hung up on the back of the door in my new room, I saw the shell of what I used to be, the life I could no longer have. The only traces left of my old life were the lips piercing I refused to take out. They were my favorites and they were staying. People like me don’t get second chances, but for some reason, I was standing knee-deep in one.

There’s no turning back now.

I will live again.

Chelle's Bliss' "Uncover Me: Men of Inked Series Book Four" is the story of Thomas, brother of the Gallo family who has spent over a year undercover cover as Blue, Sergeant at Arms of the Sun Devils  motorcycle club. He has become so deeply involved, that the lines between real life and  undercover life have seriously blurred. His love for Roxy, a stripper, who never had any one besides him to care for her is the only things that's pure and real. When his life, undercover and real life collide, he's had enough and decides that it's time to take the Sun Devils down and leave while he still has his sanity.

Being a fan of the Men of Inked of Inked Series and having read every single title from day one, I could not wait to meet another Gallo. Thomas' story is much different from the other books in the series. While this is an erotic romance, the book is not flooded random sex scenes, because of the nature of Thomas' story. It's rather dark as he is extremely conflicted in his ability to assimilate back into the world from which he came. Since I do not measure or review books based on how much sex is in it, I did not mind. The story line grabbed me from page one.  

 STORY - 5 BOOKS

"Uncover Me" has an amazing story line. As I mentioned it focuses on Thomas' undercover work to taking down the Sun Devils, and blurred lines between his undercover life and real life. When a run in with a family member, while under,almost jeopardizes, a year's worth of investigations and the lives of his family, he decides enough is enough and he's taking is woman with him. I LOVE IT!. This is the main story line. There's so many facets to"Uncover Me" and somehow it all works. From  the internal battle to want to fit in to  kidnapping, murder, and family. IT WORKS! It's amazingly written.

CHARACTERS - 5 HEARTS

I love the Gallos. They are relatable, funny, loving. They have been created and given to us in such a beautiful way that, it's sometimes hard to forget that these aren't real people.

Although Thomas makes a brief appearance in the books throughout the series, we never really meet him  until now in "Uncover Me", We got to see all sides of him.  He's serious, focused and determined while undercover. He's funny, compassionate, loving, and amorous, with Roxy. He's a respectful and family oriented during Sunday dinners. Once again, he's a Gallo, so it goes without saying, he's protective, of anything and everything he loves. I found myself feeling bad for him at times when he was doubting that he'd every really fit back in with the family and when he realized how much missed, being undercover.

Roxy. Love her.She is a product of her environment, which is seedy and dishonest, but she does not let that define her. Unfortunately, that life is all that she knows. It isn't until she meets Blue/Thomas that she feels anything. Her life before him was zombie like, with no promise or purpose. What' I felt was beautiful about Roxy is her unconditional love for Blue. She's willing to pick up everything and leave to blindly follow Blue's lead to God knows where. She is truly an "angel". You can't help but to route for her happiness, because she was dealt such a shitty hand in life. When she meets "Thomas" and the Gallos, it's truly a Cinderella moment. 

 5 DRIPPIN' WET PANTIES

While, "Uncover Me" may not be flooded with sex scenes through out it's pages, the ones that are there hot. That's what it's about at the end of the day... QUALITY over quantity, with the exception of orgasms, of course. It's okay, because Thomas, according to Roxy has "... this sixth sense when it came to f*cking. He was like the Amazing Kreskin of orgasms." I LOVE THAT! But then again he is a Gallo.  Even the conversations at the dinner table are enough to get ya going. 

WELL DONE!  5 STARS
